About the Position
This AI Lead (Manager of Artificial Intelligence) role is responsible for the overall management and direction of all technical/managerial functions associated with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) applications and products in Rology.
As the Manager of AI, your role will extend beyond mere management. You will be a thought technical leader on the application of AI within Rology's industry, guiding and implementing engineering processes for the effective implementation of AI and ML. You will also be responsible for all planning, team leading and management in the scope of AI at Rology.
Your leadership will ensure the continued operational success of these areas through well-monitored AI applications. As such, you will play a critical role in Rology's current and future business operations.
Position Requirements:
- Diverse technical experience (4 years minimum) in AI model development, software engineering, and monitoring of deployed software, plus minimum 1 year of managerial/team lead experience.
- A proven track record of successful delivery of AI products from inception to deployment, including ability to present case studies of past work.
- Prior experience in developing and implementing AI solutions in radiology, and medical imaging.
- Master or Ph.D. degree in a specialized field related to AI or Machine Learning is prefered, especially in the field of radiology.
- Experience with data modeling and data exploration tools, including expertise in the use of scientific computing and data management packages is required.
- A demonstrated ability to provide vision and strategic direction at an institutional level.
- Understand working in a compliance-based and regulated environment, including software quality and risk management, building, deploying, and supporting secure software throughout the AI development life cycle.
