We are currently looking for a dynamic and energetic Rooms Division Manager for our fabulous hotel, the Graham Georgetown, in Washington, DC.
What you will be doing:
As the Rooms Division Manager, you will manage the effectiveness of the day-to-day Rooms operation. The priority of your role will be working closely with the Rooms Division department leaders and other department leaders to ensure the highest level of service delivery to meet guest satisfaction and exceed their expectations. Your primary responsibilities will include implementing all Rooms Division brand standards and best practices, providing training and development opportunities for all team members, and effectively managing the Rooms Division expenditures and budgets.
- Responsible for the performance of the Front Office, Housekeeping, and Maintenance, and providing guidance and assistance in the execution of the operations.
- Directs and controls all Rooms Division associates and ensures that all day-to-day operational matters are handled efficiently and effectively and that guest expectations are met or exceeded.
- Ensures the highest levels of quality across services and products to increase customer satisfaction and position the organization for continual growth.
- Interacts with guests to get feedback about services and facility cleanliness, and reviews guest feedback with the leadership team, and ensures appropriate corrective action is taken. Identify & establish procedures to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformance relating to products, services, and processes of the resort operations.
- Creates the Rooms Division budget by setting annual financial goals and closely monitors the financial performance of all departments, particularly all Rooms expenses, to ensure that they are aligned with the budget.
- Monitor the Rooms Division's financial performance and ensure that expenses are kept in line with the departmental budget. Manages profitability by analyzing service issues and identifying trends.
- Interviews, manages, trains, and develops their direct reports, which includes conducting regular performance feedback discussions and assisting with their growth and development plans.
- Resolves guest complaints and handles all guest interactions with the highest level of professionalism.
- Ensures regular, ongoing communication in Rooms (e.g., pre-shift briefings, staff meetings). Incorporates guest satisfaction as a component of staff/operations meetings, emphasizing generating innovative ways to improve results continually.
- Creating and maintaining positive relationships within all departments
About you
To be considered for this role, you will have at least 3+ years of managerial experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in luxury hotels and mainly in Front Office operations and possibly also in Housekeeping positions.
- Strong managerial, leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to create momentum, foster organizational change, and develop the rooms division department to succeed.
- Has exceptional attention to detail and consistently shows concern for work activities' quality, accuracy, and completeness.
- Exceptional commercial and financial acumen with solid training and people development skills.
- Excellent communication skills, maintains an open, approachable manner, and drives customer satisfaction by building professional guest relationships.

Pay: $54,250.45 - $65,333.88 per year
