The Title I Reading Teacher will be responsible for improving the Reading skills of underperforming students in grades 1-4 or 5-8 and supporting the goal of high Reading achievement for all students.RESPONSIBILITIES: Analyze standardized test data to identify student needs in Reading.Based on identified needs, plan Reading/ELA lessons that address identified student needs and support classroom instruction.Provide small-group instruction using lessons that address identified student needs and support classroom instruction.May be asked to assist /co-teach Reading with classroom and/or other teachers.Assist Head of School with inventory, scheduling, and distribution of Reading testing.Meet with classroom and/or Reading teachers to plan for and discuss students.Attend Response to Intervention meetings for relevant grade levels.$ads={2}
