Based in Munich The Marketing Manager designs, develops, and implements an effective brand strategy to drive the successful launches of new vaccines in Germany for CSL Seqirus.
The successful candidate is responsible for developing a pre-marketing and launch strategy for new vaccines in close collaboration with Associate Marketing Director and the broader cross-functional team. You will develop a highly impactful omni-channel campaign, monitor launch timelines and ensure a flawless execution.
The Marketing Manager will foster an environment of innovation, challenges the status quo, and seeks insights from the market to fully unleash business opportunities. This role drives innovation to enhance competitive edge.
Responsibilities include:-
- Develop pre-marketing and strategic launch plan in alignment with cross-functional team
- Recognise key opportunities and challenges in the evolving market landscape, develop strategies to maximise unique positioning vs competitors
- Develop an impactful tactical plan in line with CSL Seqirus Germany key strategic priorities and with the aim to gain market shares in short time, develop channel strategy and tactics, introduce digital campaigns
- Challenge existing thinking and offer new innovative ideas in a collaborative and collegial manner
- Develop sales forecast, key contributor to business reviews and long ranging plans
- Plan market research activities in line with strategic objectives
- Knowledge of competitors landscape and pipeline
- Pro-actively capture market and policy changes as well as competitors’ activities to outmaneuver competition
- Deep understanding of the market, of customers’ needs and of the competitors´ landscape
- Development of a launch plan incl. key messages in alignment with cross-functional team and global strategy
- Together with the cross-functional team build the brand value proposition by channel, identify key strategic objectives and tactics in line with the German and global objectives
- Development of an impactful omni-channel marketing campaign to ensure a successful launch in Germany. Ensure timely and accurate execution of all planned activities
- Development of launch materials to promote the brands to different customer’s channels and stakeholders
- Oversee communication activities plan and execution across channels including participation to conferences and congresses
- Support market access with input on key contents
- Develop knowledge of the key clinical papers and the related clinical evidence
- Management and accountability of external agencies to meet objectives
- Use disease and market understanding to develop customer insights, innovative ideas, and excellent planning to execute commercial strategies
- Responsible for managing budget and for Roi analysis to maximise operational investments
- Lead a high performing cross functional brand team
- Work closely with cross-functional team on aligning the execution of key strategic initiatives
- Work closely with the sales team and the regional sales managers
- Ensure 100% compliance with ABPI code of practice, with all internal and external policies.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience: -
- University degree or higher degree
- At least 5 years professional experience in pharmaceutical industry
- Launch experience required
- Pharmaceutical Marketing Experience
- Multichannel Marketing Experience
