TASK RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Repair / overhaul / modification of electro-mechanical components in the shop.
- Assist in creating tools and test fixtures to accomplish and facilitate repairs and tests.
- Operate shop tooling/ test equipment according to his/her approval and training received on same.
- Provide verbal/ written hand over of his work to team members and superiors.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:
- Secondary technical education (CATP, DAP or equivalent) or an apprenticeship in electric/electronic or communication field
- Minimum three years' experience in the repair of electrical components.
- Good understanding of drawings, wiring diagrams, manuals and repair methods.
- Mature attitude, ability to work in a team and independently.
- Willing to work two shifts.
- Fluency in written and spoken English; any other language will be considered an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and TRAX.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Full time position, based in Luxembourg.
- Day and afternoon shift work as per the shop working schedule.
- A Certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of positive selection.
- The successful candidate will have to obtain a valid medical fitness certificate for the job issued by the Company doctor prior to the start of the employment.
- The position qualifies as safety-sensitive personnel as per EU Regulation 965/2012. The successful candidate will have to be tested for psychoactive substances prior to the start of the employment.
